Rowan Boulevard fly-thru video of phases of Redevelopment Project, Glassboro, NJ
To visually introduce the Master Plan for the Downtown Redevelopment/Rowan Boulevard project, a public-private-public partnership of Glassboro, NJ, Rowan University and developer Sora Holdings.
A video was produced as a fly-through of the project, which highlighted details of the future downtown and Rowan Boulevard – now in existance. The copywriting assignment was for a descriptive script for the voice-over of the video presentation. This became available on-line to stakeholders, the media and the public.

The project was covered locally, regionally – and nationally as an example of smart growth downtown redevelopment and creation of the quintessential college town. The link will show listings of news releases and links to published stories.
A newsletter that has an objective to promote a product and/or service should be written so that the reader is educated with compelling facts regarding the product or service.…not as an obvious promotion to sell the product. This is especially true for a regularly published newsletter in order to have the recipient open and read each time.
This example is a newsletter written to educate the golf industry on the current business climate at the time. It was distributed to attendees of a golf industry conference prior to my being a scheduled speaker on the subject from Smith O’Keefe Associates – Hospitality Golf Marketing Division.
The assignment was to produce copy for a new brochure to stimulate interest in membership at Lookaway Golf Club, a private equity Club in Buckingham, PA. The Club is now in its 20th year of operation, founded by a group if its present members and board members.
Working together with a graphic artist, my written copy, photos and graphic layout were to convey the special lifestyle of the Lookaway Golf Club. The copy written for the brochure, addressed those aspects of the Club that would most appeal to their target market.
In support of the Membership campaign, Lookaway Golf Club published advertisements in certain publications that appeal to their audience.
The 2019 campaign copy introduced a ‘preview membership’ with dining and golf privileges to interested potential members while waiting for a share to become available. They would have the opportunity to experience the lifestyle of the Club before making the investment in full membership. The campaign has been successful in attracting new membership.
To submit a series of advertorials (submission of lifestyle business articles) on Lookaway Golf Club to the Bucks County (PA) Magazine.
Lookaway Golf Club’s attention to creating a relaxed Bucks County environment, combining exceptional golf with a welcoming active social life was one of a series of stories written that was welcomed by the magazine.
